I finally made up my mind.
Today the blog of Carlo’s Rome is born.
I thought about it for a long time and I realized that my will is to let you know the Rome I love, and which is part of me, and my way of life.
This is my city and now everyone can try to really discover it by following me;
It is not enough just to look at the monuments to say that you have seen them,
you need to be able to remove the veil of mystery with which history has covered them.
In practice this is what I propose to you because I would like to explain to you that Rome is not simply a wonderful city known all over the world:
it is a category of the mind.
In this place, history and emotions come together and I really propose a journey through the history of a Rome that celebrated her 2774 birthday this year.
In all these years, think about how many changes the city has undergone, how many footprints have been left on its streets, how many eyes have seen its monuments and churches and how many stories have been told and handed down.
My real intention is not only to introduce you to the places, but also to accompany you in their history and in that of the Eternal City, making you take a journey back in its wonders and contradictions to learn about things that few know and what they represent for the city.
